Popular Attractions in and near Butler
1. Butler Park

This is the Butler Park. It has the graves of soldiers, a 9/11 memorial, and lots of benches to sit at. It is also very beautifully decorated in the Christmas time.It is located on Park Place

2. Butler Museum

In the museum, one can learn a bunch about Butler’s history, as well as its influence on Thomas Edison, the Statue of Liberty and the rubber industry, while also exploring the personal stories of its residents. It is situated on the upper end of Main Street, and has been located in the former train station since 1976. The Museum has vintage postcards, photos, and Butler High School yearbooks from 1921 up to now. It also has business journals, family histories, and cemetery records. The Museum building was built in 1888, renovated from 2011-2014, and rededicated on April 17, 2016.

3. Ron Assante Park

This is a not so high resolution photo of Ron Assante Park. Unfortunately I could not find any others but that doesn't mean that this park, or what most people call it, playground isn't fun. My childhood lives in this playground, which includes slides, swings, a tic-tac-toe game area, and much more. It is located on Western Avenue.

4. Silas Condict Park

This is a park that is located in Kinnelon, NJ on Kinnelon Road. It is by far my favorite attraction because it has such a gorgeous view. You can have picnics here, host parties, go fishing, go hiking, etc,. You can also walk around the park, as there is so much area to have a nice stroll in. There is also a bridge that has an amazing view.

5. Bloomingdale Community Playground

This is a playground located in Bogue Pond, Bloomingdale, NJ. It is very close to Butler and is a very beautiful little playground. It also has a basketball court, slides, swings, a small zipline, and more. It also has a very beautiful pond next to it, where you can take pictures and see if you can spot a frog.

Public Places to Know
1. Butler Public Library

This is the Butler Public Library located in Butler, NJ on Ace Road. It is a nice place to go to if you want to chill and sit down on their couches, or borrow a book. It also has a playground in the back of the library for kids to have fun. The library also provides students with a lot of resources, as well as teaching to adults who are just learning English. They also have games sometimes, and there are computers and printers you can use at your own pleasure.

2. River Place

River Place is a nice location to do a lot of different things. It is located on Main Street, right next to the Butler Museum. One can go there to shop around, go to Dunkin' Donuts, Ritas, and more. It is an area where you can get an apartment, as well as go for a walk. There is a very nice-looking waterfall as well, and I go there often to walk around, look at the waterfall, and sit on the benches.

3. Butler Family Restaurant and Diner

The Butler Family Restaurant and Diner is a place to get food with your loved ones. It provides a variety of different foods, ranging from waffles, salads, sandwiches, pasta, eggs, hash-browns, and much more. It has been serving for 50 years and makes delicious food. It is located also on Main Street.

4. Aaron Decker School, Richard Butler School, and Butler High School

Aaron Decker School, Richard Butler School, and Butler High School are all public schools located in Butler. Aaron Decker school is located on Decker Road, Richard Butler School is located on Pearl Place, and Butler High School is located on Bartholdi Avenue. They are great schools and teach you lots of knowledge. ADS is an elementary school, RBS is a middle school, and BHS is a high school.

Located near Decker Road in Butler, NJ, there is the Butler Plaza which has places to eat at, including Wawa, Panera, and even pizza places. There is also a CVS.

3. Marshalls

Just across from Stop and Shop is Marshalls, also located on Kinnelon Road, Kinnelon. However, it is right next to Butler and very close, within walking distance even.
